Community Asset Mapping

The Place Matters team has been working to map assets in local communities throughout the state of Maine. With the generous support of our funders, we have been able to map assets for transition aged youth in all 16 counties. The asset lists are available for the public to access for the purpose of finding resources in their local communities to make connections and help youth. These lists are evolving and will be updated periodically as new information is gathered.

Find Assets in Your Community

The community assets map is a searchable tool of named assets from our community asset mapping work in each county. This map will evolve and change over time. Click on your county for asset information.

Map Assets in Your Community

While our Virtual Asset Mapping Questionnaire is closed for submissions at this time, you can still check out our 10-minute Virtual Community Asset Mapping video! In this presentation, we share a brief overview of the work Place Matters is doing to implement a community-based Continuum of Care across Maine and provide an overview of our community asset mapping activity.
